I’ve always been the “art kid”, the one with paint-stained hands and making DIY projects inspired by Art Attack. Eventually, I chose Computer Science because, hey, building things with code sounded like a new way to create. Programming taught me to solve problems logically, but I missed the creative spark that drove me.

So, I went exploring. I dabbled in illustration, tried graphic design, and eventually stumbled into UX design. It was like swiping right on a perfect match—it just clicked. Problem-solving? Tech? Design? It checked all my boxes and brought everything I loved into one place.

After months of self-teaching (shoutout to YouTube and Coursera), I landed a UX design internship during undergrad, which later became a full-time role. Working with clients across industries was incredible, but it left me curious—I wanted to dig deeper into UX research to understand what drives user decisions and behaviors.

So, I made a choice. I traded the comfort of what I knew for the thrill of exploring something new. Now, I’m pursuing my master’s in HCI, diving into research and design to refine my craft. It’s been an exciting journey, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.
